Adobe Reader is software that, once loaded, stays on your computer and is only utilised when opening .pdf files (portable document format).

What do I do next?
Firstly, check and see if you have it already. Click here (and if you are connected to the web) you will go straight to www.adobe.com and the page where you can download it safely. Follow the instructions carefully.
On the first page, Steps 1 of 2 , choose from the drop down lists for "Platform" and "Connection speed". This will open up Step 2 of 2 you must put a check mark (tick) in the box "Download the full version". Only tick the others if you want too. Click on the button Continue and on the next page click on Download - and away you go.
