In 1997 the Parish started the Covenant with the Poor. In the Covenant we pledge ourselves to work for the transformation of those conditions which afflict the poor and outcasts of society. A new Covenant is signed each Pentecost when we start raising money for that year's cause. Over the years we have supported a wide range of projects including the Trinity Centre, a clinic in Honduras, Wells for India , Hope and Homes for Children, The Sisters of St Lucy's mission in Eritrea, the Winchester Visitors Group and Potter's House which cares for children living on the municipal dump in Guatamala city. We have four appeals each year to raise money together with a weekly donation from the Parish collection.
